Billie is a trendy womenswear boutique located on Laurier Street in the wealthy neighborhood of Outremont, offering international clothing lines to a young and hip clientele.
Following the initial intention to give a new look, a new skin for the shop, the concept of molting skin was adopted. The walls, ceiling and some of the furniture were wrapped in sumptuous but yet discreet drapes and wallpaper. A backlit wall in the same light pattern creates an ambiance and becomes a distinctive feature of the store at the street level at night. The neo-romantic look of the furniture and dark wood flooring set at 45 degrees completes the shop design in a rich and sensitive way.
One of the unique aspects of the store is the integration of a large open fitting lounge. Just like a large walk-in, this intermediate space between the fitting rooms and the store is lined with mirrors and provides great customer intimacy.
The Billie boutique, in addition to having more than doubled its annual turnover, offers a more elegant, warmer and more stylish atmosphere.
